Jones Adams is an associate attorney at Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP.
Prior to joining the firm, Erin practiced at Mayer Brown LLP in
Charlotte, where she focused her practice on banking and finance.
Earlier in her career, Erin served as a dance instructor and
professional dancer for the High Point Ballet.
Erin received the J.D. degree from the West Virginia University
College of Law in 2007, where she was a member of the Order of the
Coif and the Order of the Barristers. While in law school, Erin
received a number of honors, including Best Oralist for Region IV
National Moot Court Competition and the CALI Excellence for the
Future Award for Appellate Advocacy, Legal Research and Writing,
Family Law and Bioethics Seminar. Her team was awarded first place
in the Region IV National Moot Court Competition, and she received
the award for Best Oralist. During a summer clerkship, Erin worked
for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Erin received the B.A. degree magna cum laude from Salem
College in 2004, where she studied journalism and Spanish. At Salem
College, she served as a Junior Marshall and was a Foundation for
the Carolinas Scholar, Elizabeth Whitaker Presidential Scholar and
USA Today Academic Team nominee. Erin completed international
study in Cuernavaca, Mexico, participated in an internship with CBS
News' 48 Hours in the Research and Planning Department, and
received accolades for producing Breaking the Stigma, a
documentary film to raise awareness of and seek resources for adults
with learning disabilities.
